Our Mission:

At Falter’s Fine Meats, our mission is simple: to bring the freshest, highest quality beef and pork products possible to Columbus and the greater Ohio area. For 135 years, the Falter family has been doing exactly that. Falters has been supplying your favorite delis, butcher shops, grocery stores and restaurants all over Columbus since 1890. Today, fifth-generation owners Jason and Cy Falter aim to bring Falters’ traditions, experience and knowledge more directly to the community that has supported us all these years.

We believe in knowing where your meat comes from and building symbiotic relationships with our customers. As we grow, our goal is to make our products more directly accessible to the community. This will begin with our brand new online store, where customers are able to order directly from us through our website. We want to give you a more delicious and informative shopping experience than the big box stores can offer without forcing you to break the bank.

Falters is bringing our tradition of excellent, local products served directly to our community into the new generation. 135 years of experience, growth and improvement are coursing through the veins of our plant–which has stood on Greenlawn Avenue since 1915. Inside the vintage brick facade is a state-of-the-art facility, fully inspected by the USDA. This allows us to maintain the highest possible standards of freshness and quality. And, our A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau is indicative of our commitment to our customers and community.
